Oh, hmm, I like that (see previous entry re. paragraphing). It'll have to be used at the right moment, a big moment before the last section where things start opening up again. I'm thinking it fits exactly where the MC's husband hits her and she suddenly comprehends the consequences of not guarding her words and behavior. But we'll see.
